Where a am the noo

Post by ash »

This Forum is lookin a bit quiet so a thoght a wid tell ye where a am the noo even thogh a didna cum by boat.

Am in Aberdeen.

Actually this is a call to Hazardous to Shipping - Far are ye quinne - I know that she works for the council - but is she involved in housing.

I'm currently babysitting one of the breakout rooms at the Chartered Institute of Housing ( CIH ) conference at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and wondered if H to S is here.

I've only got 2 x 1 hour sessions per day, and free internet access so it's all a lot more chilled than my usual jobs.

Sorry - a couldna keep up the Doric - a bided 17 yeers in Portsoy - bit a leaved there mair than 35 yeers sien.

Luckily - I'm a technician rather than a delegate - so I just have to put up with the drink - Oh it's a hard life.

Claymore - you sound as though you're an experienced delegate.

Cry from the crowd " Who's that standing next to Shard? "

I worked on the dinner a couple of years ago at the Glasgow Hilton when Bill Clinton was the guest of honour - guys in suits with bulges under their arm everywhere.

Here I am back in Aberdeen, again babysitting a breakout room at the CIH conference.

BM Forum is certainly much busier than it was a year ago. One man's loss is another man's gain.

Hazard to Shipping will be found rounding up stray dogs and lecturing communities on the best way of disposing of waste or drinking coffee and eating scones in the celubrious setting of council offices in Stonehaven

Ah now Garredfox - you are just jealous. The wifie makes a fine home bake - should be a fresh scone available at about 10am tomorrow . I f you are in the area - you will have to be quick!!! They don't last long.

Re the CIH - lowly folk like me don't get invited to places like that !!
