Weatherweb.TV Weekend Sailing Forecast

Post by weatherman »

Hi all,

The Weekend Sailing Forecast has been updated at Weatherweb.TV

Just go to http://www.weatherweb.tv and select the Sailing Channel.

Known issues still include the time the file takes to download, but again I am working on this.

Once again please send your feedback to simon@weatherweb.net

Best wishes, thanks for watching and have a great weekend,
Simon

Thanks again Simon. I didn't, at first, like the fact that the forecast is broken up into little vidlets but actually, for a second viewing, it makes it much easier to go to particular sections and repeat them until they sink in.

Likewise. Also, agree with Silkie - very easy to scroll through for one's own area.

Great stuff; just a shame about the weather....

Weatherweb.TV Short term forecast

Post by weatherman »

Just updated with a short term forecast. What do you think of this, easier to watch?

The forecast format is fine but the forecast area is all wrong - it needs to be about 400 miles to the NNW. :)

Don't worry Silkie, there'll be regional forecast for the whole of the UK!

Mind you, someone did email and said he thought the forecast were "great but could I focus them on sailing, perhaps including wind speed on the maps"!!!!!!

No one from this forum I have to say :)

Did you explain or just say "What a good idea - wish I'd thought of that!"
