Britain's last Witchcraft trial....

Post by Telo »

.... was in 1944, when a Scotwoman was imprisoned for 9 months in Holloway for allegedly disclosing World War II secrets - she told a seance a warship had sunk before the news had been released.

"It was claimed that she endangered the war effort by using her powers as a spiritualist or medium to reveal the fact, kept secret, that the ship the HMS Barham had been sunk."

Is she still about

Would she help with lottery numbers, has she a daughter, or 7th son

SWMBO has a black cat but she never wins anything

I asked the cat to pick some numbers but all she said was "me, how"

Funny that

My son made a similar remark when I gave him a bollocking for fusing the electrics.

Just because he didn't do it doesn't meant it wasn't his fault.

Generally speaking he has done more damage than the earthquake did.
