At around 170 Acres, the new owners have lots of land to develop space for motorhomes, caravans and camping, which I assume they would also want to use the LOTI. See the sales brochure outline of land in red. Of course we don't know what was finally agreed except the rental cottages were not included at the sale, or were included but left to be managed by others. I can't see a development like this being in the carpark. Motorhomes are a big thing in Scotland now, so it makes sense to tap into that market to potentially increase revenue streams. However, they have a council to convince for planing, a council that is known to be awkward.

I agree with the concept of a club being risky, but a discount scheme for berth holders would be better. However, they did say that a club format still meant that the public would have access to LOTI.
Anyway, at least they are coming in with view to development. We shall see.
