Well, akshually . . . strange as it may sound, we don't make any money off the forums. Need to get some of those pop-up landrover adverts I guess.

We make bit from Google ads ($1.67 so far today from nearly 3000 page impressions throughout the site) and some money from selling small ads at £50 a year, but probably the most is from people ordering from Amazon via the links scattered throughout the site.

I't s not really a hill of beans though . . . mostly I do it for the beer (and the free sex of course).

Am hoping to launch a new paid for classifieds section within the next couple of weeks - £20 for ten pics and unlimited description - and if that repays the set-up costs within six months then I will eat my badwords filter :doh!

But enough of that - are you enjoying it so far????

I can't get on to the site at all this morning - not just the boards, I can't get on to ybw.com at all.

This has been since late last night. Is it the same for the rest of you?

OK for me so far, but it has been like a lady of the night's nether garments recently.

Hi lescargot, nice to see you over here. I've had no trouble logging on to YBW - perhaps you and Webfoot are probably being singled out for "special attention". Now, Nick I can understand ....... 8)
