Yachtsman missing

Post by Nick »

A man is missing after a yacht sank in a sea loch in the Highlands, police have confirmed.

Officers were alerted at about 12:30 on Saturday after debris was found on a shore of Loch Inver, near the village of Lochinver.

Wreckage from the yacht has since been recovered from the loch's Strathan Bay.

The force said the boat had left Ullapool, south of Lochinver, four weeks ago on Wednesday 13 December with one person on board.

Doesn't sound good, especially with this cold weather.

That is sad.

I think, please advise if you are sure, that this comes under the MCA’s remit to investigate being in UK waters.
What's that? Dunno! Should we be worried about that? Dunno! How? Ah dunno!
