CCC Race Results

Post by Aja »

At a loose end and thought I would check the Bute race results on the CCC website.

What a mess.

The important nugget to take away is that Marisca was fastest of the lot on corrected time! Really nice day's sail to shake the cobwebs out - smiles all round.

Well done Marisca, I didn't think there would be enough winds to get everyone round?

I didn't find the results online....

They're on the CCC Faceache page and if I knew how I would post them here.
We carried wind the whole way - probably why we won - while the fast boys (and girls) found holes. Got one glorious windshift from not making Garroch Head on port to easing sheets on starboard with no hole in between! Sunshine all day and I reckon it's warmer on the water than on land.

Neither has the hole off Garroch Head by the sound of it.

Harrumph! As webmaster I organised the update from the original site to the latest but one incarnation.

I introduced the facility to upload times and results from Excel spreadsheet into the Race results page. Updated the look and feel and standardised all the pages.

What is the point of a website that none more refers to? Information available is an embarrassment. Dinghy Section should be given free reign to use it for their own use as they have so much more information.
