Is it me?
Or are the Starlings that are murmurating in the back field a sign that I should start to try and find all the boatie stuff that is parked all over the house?

Depends how far spread it is across your estate and how much repairing and preparing is needed before the weather evolves from absolutely pish to almost bearable
