Ullapool Small Boat Harbour Development

Post by BlowingOldBoots »

Friends who were up at Ullapool for the new year described the development happening at Ullapool for small boats. A time lapse video of the works up to end of December is interesting, showing the back filling, piling and new base for the small boat harbour development. The slide show from the public consultation indicates what the finished scheme will look like, with virtual images of the finished works with boats.

Looks interesting and potentially useful addition to facilities at Ullapool.

Well spotted, about time Ullapool got a few pontoons. Maybe time for a visit to the Ceilidh place via sea this summer.

great to see the investment, but will there be room for visitors or will local boats fill all the space?
What length of boat do you think can use those pontoons?
