Up at Craobh and the DSC VHF alarm went off, followed by a Coastguard message that a PLB from Great White had been activated near Ardfern.
Thankfully, it was a false alarm, accidental activation of PLB. It was reassuring to know that these devices transmit, with position, and a quick mayday alarm is issued.

don't have a PLB or EPIRB but good to know that the tech works
