Ah - the only Maid I ever encountered in Bute was a rather fine young thing who seemed to enjoy her work in the Victorian Shower room. I remember her rather lovely but sad smile as my towel slipped...

I never had that pleasure. All I can say is that the blocky looking maid on the right has really let herself go. Definitely an 8-pinter. High-strength beer goggles required.

I think in this day and age they should be gender neutral e.g. the Maidmen of Bute. Personally I would not bother buggering around with them, their days of glory have long faded into the irrelevance of the young.

There are plenty sheep on Bute, never mind Claymore's shower attendant, so why would anyone blimey lumps of stone?

Someone has had a go at tidying them up. The smaller of the two has a rather fetching polka dot frock, but the big one on the right has a blue and white stripe number. I always thought big girls were advised not to wear stripes. Both now have faces, but way too much lipstick as if they got done up in the toilet of a nightclub after a few too many vodka and oranges.

This takes me back to the halcyon days of my first parties
A time of discovery
For example that wonderful evening when I found out that jelly isn't the only thing that wobbles....
