43DS Oban 2nd-5th may

Post by tcm »

Right, i have provisionally chartered a potential Shard-thrashing sailyboat from Oban over the relevant weekend. All i need now is some crew with excellent sailing skills and willingness to share costs (a bit). Applications invited.

Aha. I was hoping to hear from you. Do you know anyone who is good at sailing and willing to share costs a bit, then? Do please let me know.

I think the good Doctor Muz may well be persuaded.
Para is 70 the following weekend so may be in a bathchair relaxing on the front at Torquay - letting the ozone get through his claveolii

Hm, i think he mite only be 60. So easily young enuf to do lots of sailing while the rest of us snooze or test if the heating is good enuf to melt the hull from under him.

So Claymore will still be out the water then, when are you planning to take to Melfort?

End of may I think - we get a few days off at Whitsuntide - its when we went last year. I was also thinking of only going as far as the Clyde to start with then going up to Tobermory in July to do the finish line for the race then aff on the cruise.
All a bit vague at present - it'll be half term week I guess - would ye be shackled to domestic duties or a free man?
