Posh Biscuits
What constitutes a posh biscuit to serve to visitors onboard?

Wullyum
Lets get down tae brass tacks.
I offered you a biskwit
You spurned my generous offer.
Muzz was taken with some notion that we had better biskwits aboard
I wasn't in charge of biskwits but when we emptied the cupboards - we did find some coconut jobbies which had a bit of chocolate on them.
I tried one because if we'd gone back with them unopened, Dear Heart would have concluded that we didn't want them so they wouldn't have appeared again
I didn't really like them and so I think you would have been better off with the one I offered you.
I'm not going to talk about the Old Pulteney.....

Re: Posh Biscuits
LOTI pub is back open and serving food on certain nights. There is a quiz on Sundays I believe with a main course meal deal.
I might stumble over one night and check it out for you all.
No need to thank me for my selfless service to the cause.

Do they serve posh biscuits? If so, what do they consider as “posh”?

Re: Posh Biscuits
I’ll find out but suspect the menu will be biased towards fish n’chips to the detriment of posh biscuits which don’t go well with beer.
Re: Posh Biscuits
No news from me. We go to Lucy’s for lunch and ate in. I got fed up with the hassle associated with LOTI, mostly due to Covid. Both Lucy’s and the water sports cafe managed the Covid situation and were no hassle. Hence, I think LOTI is just poorly managed. Menu was also very poor. Perhaps things have changed.DaveS wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 8:04 pmAny news on developments at LOTI?BlowingOldBoots wrote: ↑Tue Nov 09, 2021 10:28 pm I was over the hill Craobh at the weekend. Re: Posh Biscuits
LOTI has either been sold or is in the process..so service is likely to be variable.
Hopefully the new owners will be as good as Will and Molly were..
