England & Covid - CG message
Belfast transmit it prior to the weather, Stornoway do it after. But having heard it several times I'm not entirely sure whether Scots boats or English boats returning from Scotland or Ireland need to follow the instructions or risk £10,000 fines. Banning boats from "Red List" countries, no matter if it was designated after leaving or how long the voyage was, seems a bit draconian - I assume that the requirement to arrive only at an airport precludes sailing.

The Stornoway lady clearly resents having to do it, almost spitting out the words "English port". Why nothing similar about the other parts of the UK - is it assumed anyone coming from furrin parts will land in Engerland first?

As we came South into the influence of Belfast and started to get the Covid bollocks before the forecast we anted to hear, we went back to 16 when the Covid bollocks came on just as we did when Stornoway were broadcasting the bollocks after the Inshore Forecast.
We had enough signal to download the forecast on 4G by then.
