Here was I, grafting for promotion, as any young-blooded, aspirational man about ship should, when my post-counter jammed. Not only that, there seems to have been a partial reset. Obviously Silkie saw me as a threat and has abused his position of authority to knobble any competition. (must have been watching the news from the dark continent) Beware everybody, we may have to take to the streets in protest, I'll be right behind you.

Spotted, it's incrementing, he must have heard me typing. But there's still some missing, so you guys who are out there in competition - and you know who you are - check your assets and keep your hand on your ha'penny 'cos there's skullduggery afoot.

This isn't the old chestnut about expecting to see a different post number on each post when actually all show your current total post count? At this moment your post count is 18 and if I "show all user's posts" there are 18 to be seen.

Sorry, Ignore me. I've just sussed that the count is always displayed fresh from my profile, and not what it was when I made it, if you know what I mean. So this will (only) be number 19, and when I look, so will all the rest. Ho hum, boring.
So I've slagged the management and can be construed as inciting insurrection. And here's me trying to make a good impression and lots of new friends and all that.
I think I'll go out to the shed and cry. Then I'll just waste time.
