AWLGRIP(®) is introducing the new AWLFAIR(®) L.W. Epoxy Trowelable Fairing Compound at this year's Monaco Yacht Show. Utilising updated resin technology, the new version - that is ideal for fairing, levelling or smoothing out surface imperfections - provides several application benefits including reduced working time due to ease of mixing, applying and sanding.
The new Awlfair L.W. helps reduce the total working time for the applicator whilst maintaining the highest finish standards. Its lower viscosity and creamier consistency makes Awlfair L.W. even easier to mix, whether by hand or mixing machine, which is increasingly being used as methods of production continue to advance. It is also easier and quicker to sand as it spreads easily to its super-smooth finish. Application is made easier too, as the pot life is 1 ½ - 2 hours at 25°C / 77°F.
Extensive testing has proven the new Awlfair L.W. continues to have excellent flexibility and superior solvent resistance, helping to prevent down-glossing of the topcoat.
