One of the most useful books I found while getting ready for our cruising adventure was "Tthe Voyager's Handbook" by Beth Leonard. It is crammed with a lot of information and is organized in a very straight forward manner. It was published in 1998, so it is starting to get a little dated but it is still the best single source of practical information I have come across. Good luck with your plans. :lol:
