Engine rebuilt.
Boat launched (in a rush Cos we were trying to complete the house renovation by April fools day)
Steamy exhaust
Nae much watter oot it
Lock down
Fuggit, I can see the boatie from mah windaes so I toddled over there today to check all was OK and spent a happy hour self isolating and exercising by assuming yoga poses with a handful of spanner’s, some bits of plastic pipe, jubilee clips and the dinghy pump. And by swearing loudly at the engine at the same time.
All well now in Zorst world as We have loads of watter, nae steam and had a fun time making farting noises from the Saildrive while expelling the corpses of whatever had crawled inside the infernal drive leg and died over the winter.
Give me a prop shaft any day.
Steamy Zorst
Re: Steamy Zorst
I was once interested in Yoga but soon got put off it, or at least group yoga, as they were all a bunch of spanners. Nothing changed then.
Re: Steamy Zorst
Yep, I wondered about the seafood crawling up my leg.
Wasnt much bother to put in another seacock and draw the water from there instead. Put a strainer bowl in line which proved its value when it filled with weed; rather it was there than inside the leg

That would be difficult with the boat in the water...If I was going to keep he I would consider it but she’ll be going on brokerage once this excrement storm is over.spuddy wrote: Wasnt much bother to put in another seacock and draw the water from there instead.
