Where Am I?
Where Am I?
While away the long, languid hours of lock down dreariness and guess where I am? Feel free to post your own 'Where Am I'; alliteration is preferred, but optional.

Millport?
Re: Where Am I?
Yes it's Millport. That was too easy, obviously. I thought a bit of sand and a harbour wall would have been difficult to ID. Do you have a picture to post?

Re: Where Am I?
I don't think the location will be too difficult. Bonus question, what is the name of the land that you can just see in the haze. Double points question, to the south is a literary landmark, what is it and what is its name?

Tinkers hole, Pig Island, Torran rocks or David Balfour bay for the literary landmark?
Re: Where Am I?
That's correct, Tinkers Hole, I don't know a Pig Island but it is Eilien nam Muc, to the south west of the southern entrance. Is Pig Island an alternative name, a local name perhaps?stevepick wrote:Tinkers hole, Pig Island, Torran rocks or David Balfour bay for the literary landmark?

Re: Where Am I?
A bit more popular. For a point each, name the bit of water, the headland on the bow and the one to left hand side of the picture and for a bonus point name the CONSPIC House that would be to port.
