Could people make Tue 11? Earlier in the week is likely to be quieter than later.

My social life is so nonexistent that I am free every evening that week. Sorry, Shuggy, it was so nearly unanimous.

I think I can probably get down there on that date.

Have any of the likely names been up to Faroe yet? I would really like to do it, but her indoors is uneasy. I pointed out it's only 2 days sailing from Stornoway so need not be a huge deal. (she has already sailed back from Norway via Shetland to the Clyde!)

Still to negotiate parole yet!

I seriously considering Faroes for summer 2019. No specific date yet, but sort of loosely thinking a week to get there, a week there and a week back. Depart Clyde for Stornoway, then on to Suderoy (south end), and meander north through the islands. Similar route back, though Orkney and Caledonian Canal is also a possibility. I have the charts for Faroes already.
As to meeting up, Wednesdays not great for me.

Despite referenda being apparently undemocratic in this confused world, I have created one to determine the most propitious day for drinks.

Electric charts for Faroes - that sounds good. What voltage (format)? I'd like to get some in .KAP format. Any ideas where to get?

Sorry to interrupt the Faroes charts discussion but ....... The drink date plebiscite has had an underwhelming response but the conclusion could be that on Monday 10th, 4 people might turn up. Is that it? Can Pagoda book his away-day, off peak, train brief yet? Will anyone make a decision? Is the bearded dwarf a.k.a. K.McC still alive?

I'm fine for Monday - though it will be a long trek for a pint if nobody else turns up

I've been away for a couple of days, but have now voted: available any night, but would really urge against choosing Friday, and even Thursday might be quite busy.
