Mistral is sold

Post by ash »

I'm happy to say that Mistral has a new owner.

If you see her, then say "Ciao"

Her new owner is an experienced sailor and has worked as an instructor at Glenans Corsica, but this is his first venture into yacht ownership.

Mistral is currently on the hard at Largs getting her bottom fettled, but I'm not sure how long she will stay in Scotland. Her new owner lives in the middle of Englandshire and is thinking of a mooring in the north Wales area, but has also made enquiries at Fairlie Moorings.

We sailed her together from Tarbert to Largs for her survey, and I couldn't have asked for a better last sail as her owner. It was fairly strong conditions which suited her, so she showed herself at her best.

Well done Ash.

One boat is enough for most of us.

The WiFi here at Ardfern is slower than tectonics, I'll save that little treat for another connection.
Seminole.

The WiFi in the pub was harder to get on than guest in the marina. I did try, and there is somat wrong with Claymore's tab, it didn't work when I tried it :)

Midge free WiFi is available on the pontoon in front of the dingy rack, I found. There was a bloke called Tim complaining about the midges too.
Seminole.

Minor crisis going on at the moment - scooshed intae Is. McCormaig, hopped nimbly up to deploy anchor. Feck all - just a clunk as the motor tripped the breaker. Windlass now languishin on a bench in Ardfern - in pieces an corroded.
