The Levoli Black will replace the Herakles as Scotland's emergency towing vessel on the 31 December 2016.

Looking at the pics in the article, it seems that different countries have their own colours for the bow stripes on tugs. I've tried in vain to google for a page giving an explanation of which UK organisation (CG, ETV, fishery protect,etc) wears what.
Anyone found one please?

Yes Dave, I'd seen that site, but nothing to indicate the UK fleet identification stripes. And if I remember correctly it's not always stripes - I think I've seen yellow/black squares involved in a fishing boat accident. I was right - http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/det ... ssel:MINNA
