New winter storage near Oban

I've just heard that Forbes Boat Care have set up a lift-out and storage at Ardmucknish Bay by Benderloch. I saw 2 yachts anchored there this afternoon, presumably waiting for more depth.

There's nothing about it on their website http://www.forbesboatcare.co.uk/ Thankfully the MRC closing has prompted a lot of activity elsewhere.

Quite a forest of masts visible from the Benderloch road as I passed yesterday plus another boat anchored waiting or on a holding mooring.

Meanwhile at Creran the area newly cleared for Staffa Tours holds another 20 yachts and the yard, full to bursting, is an impressive sight.
