They're fairly well concealed and protected, after all nobody wants people scrumping their plums, but I must admit that on occasion I do throw caution to the wind and give them an airing.

As well as fruit cobblers I think it's going to be a great year for sloes for sloe gin - I've just got half a bagful without trying 

Became a full-time sailor at the end of May
