Sale Pending, sorry but you missed it.

My Pops has just had to consign his Tinker Tramp to the skip as he couldn't mend it anymore.

The upshot is that there is a sailing kit for said Tinker up for grabs in "as new" condition. I think I'm the only one to use it and that has only been a couple of times.

There is also the canopy to convert the thing into a pseudo life raft. I think that was unwrapped and fitted when new "just to see how to do it" but it's not been out since. Actually knowing my dad it's probably been checked every year, he is like that.

Pound notes weren't mentioned but I'm sure a contribution to the new tender would be appreciated.

Your Dad helped me out two years ago when I was fitting a wind indicator at the top of the mast and my battery drill ran out of juice.

He was able to let me finish off the job by lending me a Stanley manual drill.

Very kind of him.

He is a good bloke, but some might think I'm biased.

They are planning to be in Tarbert for a couple or three weeks. If there are depressions queing up in the Atlantic ready to roll in they often come home to do the washing. They have only just gone back though so rain won't stop play yet.
