Happy Birthday

Post by ash »

Birthday greetings to Aquaplane Bob and to Dougie the Mate from G Pontoon here in Tarbet. First day of the holiday, rain seems to have stopped now!

Had a good sail through most of the Kyles from Kip. Had to motor the last 7 nm, in the rain.

Had great fish and chips in the Tarbet Hotel.

A belated happy birthday to Bob from wirsels at Tob. Ran into Lady Stormrider and Aquaplane in Tob on Monday; guess they'll now be enjoying this spell of fine weather down at Bunessan or the Bull Hole.

I spoke too soon about the rain. We had lots of thunder and lightning, heavy rain, and big hailstones in Tarbet in the early hours of this, Wednesday, morning.

Decided to take advantage of Tarbet's half price last night offer, so hopefully into the canal tomorrow.

I got very soggy anchoring at Bunessan but soon got warmed up when Stormy produced a chicken curry for my birthday tea.

His Silkyness shared our birthday meal at Loch Aline last year and texted to invite us out again but Mull came between us.
Seminole.
Cheers Bob.

You have another card waiting for you at home as well. As well as a credit card bill which seems to have a lot of spend on trinkets for the floozie
