The meandering Marisca
AIS is a distracting thing...
Why did Marisca go to Dunstaffnage this morning?
Oban - Dunstaffnage - Lismore...?

I needed diesel - is that ok? And it took a ridiculous length of time mostly standing in a queue to pay. I've a good mind to turn the thing off but then I'd get grief from her indoors. Tune in again tomorrow for the next exciting instalment!

Re: The meandering Marisca
Shouldn't your AIS thingy have shown your destination and the purpose of the voyage so that your stalker can keep his blood pressure within acceptable levels?

My AIS thingy doesn't have the facility for destinations, even if I knew where I was going. Today's excitement will be at Ardnamurchan - straight on or turn right? I'll watch the AIS to see what I do.

Re: The meandering Marisca
My meanderings led me north to Stornoway (as my stalkers no doubt know - did you notice the 8kts+ unseemly progress yesterday?) and I was being dined in a posh establishment by some natives grateful for my visit when who walks in but a scruffy yachtsperson, no less than Nick of this parish. I, of course, had words with the management and while ejecting him was apparently out of the question, putting him in a quiet dark corner out of the way was the best they could do. Quite spoiled my Chateau La Feet 1972, it did.
As the Stornoway Harbour Wifi is rubbish, he probably won't read this or any other scurrilous comments you lot post until he returns south - so go to it.

Re: The meandering Marisca
Had spotted your leisurely jaunt north, couple of tacks into Cala Steornabhaigh and then a tricky little dance of a back and forth to find a nest? Looked like you got booted out of every quay in the harbour, and ended up anchoring off he dock in the upper end?
Did you see that bright orange French yacht - Makore?

Is that the one with a bit faded hull with patches? A solo Frenchman was in Tarbert for a few nights a week or so ago, looked a business like yacht.mm5aho wrote:Did you see that bright orange French yacht - Makore?
