Ups and downs

Post by claymore »

Just home from the pleasantest of few days in God's Country.
Ma fine shup has wintered well and is in all aspects 'ready for sea' apart from the replacement wheelhoosie windie which disnae fit. The thing has been made by a firm in Kent.

There was a new window fae Kent,
Which to fit, would need to be bent
At Ardfern they did shriek
When the fekkin' thing leaked
So back down to Kent it got sent.
Regards
Claymore

And I was going to ask you for the source as mine are crazed. I'll stand by.

The ones on the corners are fine Bill, it's the one directly in front of the wheel that is the problem.
As you say, we'll wait and see - they hope to have it done by Friday this week.

My mother is most disappointed in me. I have been watching Claymore's progress in Ardfern. I thought the polythene sheet window was a permanent fixture...
