Re: Free two-stroke premix
'Tis a kind offer but as my egg whisk only uses a couple of litres in a year, it would be far too excessive for me. My mind boggles as to why you have such a quantity.

Silkie's outboard is her main engine and the venerable Yamaha was a thirsty beast.
You don't have to take it all.

Re: Free two-stroke premix
I'd normally just add some fresh petrol and use it for another season, however, your post infers that the venerable Yams coat has slipped off the shoogly peg and fresh fuel is needed for the running-in process?

Re: Free two-stroke premix
Silkie has gone all four-stroke and I want to use the right stuff in my shiny new motor, at least initially. I could use up the old fuel by adding the odd pint from time to time after running-in but it just seemed easier to give it away.

I'm now the proud owner of a 2 stroke so could take 5 litres.Silkie wrote:No takers for free energy then?

I think that I need to run it at 50:1 so would take some of the oil too.
Will need to organise a meet.
I'll send you a PM.
