Re: Four weeks to go
I'm ging up on the 3rd May with the Muzz to put ma fine shup together. Para and I are going to be up there during the last week in May - if he gets over a 4 day birthday bash he's been invited to.
the Muzz is off on a Saga Round Britain Cruise as a Guest Speaker. Its the same one that got on fire a couple of years ago in the Sound of Mull. We are hoping to bear oor airses to him.

Re: Four weeks to go
So, summarising the above, it looks like late May before all the traditional participants will be available.
OTOH it seems that some will be about this weekend. Would a mini version - a sort of pre-CC cruise - be a possibility?
I'm currently planning on arriving at Craobh mid-day Friday, but haven't looked at tides yet.

.
Launch is now looking like Thursday or Friday.
If it is late before we get the sails on, mast straight etc then we may just come to Craobh Friday evening.

. . . or on the other hand . . .
XCWeather is now looking a bit silly for most of the weekend.

Shame we didn't go for it - I cannot remember having sailed in snowstorms on the CC
