Not been an update on this page for a while so I'll give you one. When going for a number 2 Flush the heads before doing the deed. This ensures less sticking of matter to the sides. This top tip is not just for boats.

I do hope you've at least one brick in the cistern!
This double flush thing is not Eco-friendly.
Also can't be done with a Lavac 'cos you'd keech yerself before you could get the lid open again.
Praps an old windolene spray (or similar) with dilute washing-up liquid could be used to add a slither factor prior to seeing that old friend off to the coast.

No bricks in the cistern. Have you seen how much rain we've had? Actually my new cistern has two buttons, big flush and wee flush.

I still think there should be washing up liquid in that thing that makes the water blue.
We've got a different prob here, there seems to be a greasy/oily component to the water which leaves a grey streak on the chanty, and there was a considerable deposit inside the cistern when I investigated. No work done on the pipes for years, so it's not plumber's snot or anything like that. Maybe somebody's dumped another fiesta in the resevoir.
