Re: Best Wishes
Greetings from Tasty Pastry Land for when Crimbo comes to the Land of Claymore tomorrow.
Here, as you'll know, today is the biggie. The streets are deserted and all but the greediest Glog sellers have closed.
The oven in our cosy Copenhagen rental apartment is too small for a proper roast so we are making do with two slabs of deed coo that are the big brothers of sirloin steaks. Ramorra we will cram all manner of smoked raw fish down our gubbs, along with olives, cheese and sundry other nice things liberated at great expense from the market at Tollverhavern
Tomorrow at lunch time I'll escape the office and go over to Christianshavn to check out the square rigger I spied moored there at ' lunchtime ' today while drinking Glog and looking at the wooden boats in Nyhavn.
Have a very merry Jule.
( I can't understand why you don't like Denmark...)

Re: Best Wishes
I was so wrapped up in the bulk chain galvy post that I never noticed you seasonal greetings.
Many thanks and I hope every body is well and happy.
I'm sitting looking out my window over Sheildaig bay with white frost on the ground, snow covered Torridon mountains in the distance against a blue sky and not a drop of wind, perfect.
Weve got a couple of grand kids and family coming over tonight so I'm going to build a big fire in the garden, its suposed to be a clear sky at the bells time so hopefully a very star filled sky......
All the best everybody
Dougie
