Depends a bit on your definition of "good". Here's a GFS forecast for that morning - yes the blue bits are below freezing!

Perfect - that's for 6:00 a.m.
So clear nights and sunny days - at 6:00 I shall be in the aft fornicatorium, listening to the eberspacher....

It could be worse - look at what those poor anal fornicators in France are getting (ok, I admit it, that wasn't the sweary filter).

And they'll be stacking the OAPs' bodies in refrigerated trailers come the 14th! (That's a reference to the "canicule" in France of 2003.)

I give in, planning anything is impossible. Forecasts changing by the hour and different sites showing completely different things.

Re: June 8th
Well so far this year there was almost a nice week after Easter, the rest has been unpredictable cool, wet, windy carp.
If the Jet stream finally gets north of Scotland around the middle of June, it might get warmer. It might not do either, as we slide towards the dark nights again without an intervening "summer"?

Re: June 8th
Well so much for that forecast! I mostly motored through rain from the Clyde to Oban via the Crinan (midges were starting to come out) last Wed - Fri (sun shone on Friday!). Squatted on a mooring Friday night and most of Saturday while a wee gale whistled round me. Caught a bus back to Ed'burg Saturday night.
The plan was a week of gentle drift cruising with my better half who's tolerance for heeling is nil and despite the northerly winds and near arctic temperatures we probably would have tried except the 16 year old moggie (bequeathed to us by my daughter when she went to university 15 years ago) has decided to stop eating/drinking and took to her bed.
Forecast for the rest of the month is dire, relatively dry but cold and no sign of the northerly airstream going away. At least the milk lasts for several days!

The weather here in The Capital of Tasty-Pastry land has been stunning the past week and I have packed some in my carry on bag.
This metreological, gift wrapped package will be unleashed on my return to the hippy kingdom , PM ramorra.
Thanks for this benevolence may be expressed in alcohol.
At your Lairdships convenience of course.
