I got an email from Bob Bradfield drawing attention to a reef he has found off Sgeir nan Ron in the loch. He also attached a jpg file of the chartlet that will be incorporated in next year's version of Antares Charts. He has superimposed on the chart the track of a previous voyage, which neatly loops round a pinnacle! If I could attach photos, I would have done so here.
As has been said often, and "uncharted rock" is one that nobody has admitted to hitting yet

Re: Loch Aline; Antares chart update
When I got that same email and looked at the new chart, I thought of how I too must have rounded that new rock without hitting it.
I guess there will be new rocks discovered for a long time to come yet. Either discovered by new technology, or discovered by the older method!
