Not taking any credit for spotting the post (TOP)...
Anyway it appears the buoy has been replaced by a decent perch.
I personally never had any bother with the rock/buoy, but a perch is pretty definite in location. !
Thanks to all the organisations who chipped in cash to allow it to happen. (ClydePort being strapped for funds!)

The red and green perches that the CCC have placed in the past are excellent - but a couple I can think of could do with being refreshed/replaced/green paint re-done. Ones being in the narrow North side entrance to Tobermory behind Calve Island, for example.
