According to an old forum post on Sailboatowners.com, the company say it's pronounced Boo-k; like Book with long o's, although no doubt a Danish speaker will be along soon to contradict me!

My dear Claymore, thankyou. That is what I have been saying for years. We have a prospective third partner in the boat who insists on 'buk' as in a male deer. It could be a deal breaker.claymore wrote:Bukh

Para sometimes thinks of himself as a Buck. He also sounds like he's rutting most mornings.Green Boat wrote:My dear Claymore, thankyou. That is what I have been saying for years.
