Visibility, Firth of Forth

Pooer, occasionally very pooer, as Ms S. Coastguard would say. I remember why I decided a boat on the west coast was a good plan.

The Belfast version is "purr". Improves the place no end!

A bright shiny thing has just appeared, albeit briefly, in the sky over Fife. Haven't seen it for a good week or so.
Mind you it's still only 6 degrees..

That milky smoky stuff hanging in the sky has extended as far west as North lanarkshire this week. We need the normal W or SW wind to blow it all back to the Netherlands or some such place. Haar Haar.
