I went to Lansdowne Road, (NOT Aviva please), Dublin last week. Cured me of any desire to go to a Scotland game for at least another year.

I have given up. The last time was an All Blacks gubbin, first time with my son. I just left depressed. The SRU have ruined it all all according to my FIL. The Border teams are poorly represented, kids playing down, attendance down, enthusiasm down.

It certainly has changed when you think of all the players that came from Selkirk, Hawick, Heriots FP etc - now itspredominantly just Edinburgh or Glasgow.
I think I would prefer an out of sorts Richie Gray in my team along with Kelly Brown to go up against the English and kept David Denton on for the duration.
Perhaps Scott Johnson can see the end of his contract and has run out of steam, or ideas - or both.
And another thing - why on earth do we need a blasted cannon?
A triumph of presentation over content.
£60 match ticket, £5 for a programme, fish supper in Moffat and a couple of pints, with petrol - works out about £1.50 per minute for the match
