Why would one select this as an option either permanently under Board Preferences in User Control Panel or during log-in?

Just idle curiosity really.

'Cos you're pretending to be uncontactable (Offshore cruising?) as the bailiffs are in the vicinity, but can't resist the lure of a dabble just to see how the claymore legacy is progressing..and don't trust the server prefects not to give your hom.ead.dre.ss away?
Otherwise, I don't see the value of the option either.
