Christmas cards

Post by ParaHandy »

Despite 42 years of my fine guidance, hersel has joined the tree hugging Eco bolx malingerers and is sending an email instead of posting a card. There is some guff about saving the world given as explanation.

I mention this as some of you enjoyed a card from me at this time of the year. Not this year. As is plain to see, none have been bought. My humble apologies and a Merry Christmas to you all.

However, the fact that the gov refused my contribution to their coffers upon the recent sale of the postal service and thus deprived me of a sum sufficient to buy the aforementioned cards and stamps is entirely fekking coincidental. If such an opportunity ever arises again, I shall be known as John Paul Morgan.

Very Noble gesture.
However, its just words - so, on 21st of June, on behalf of all former recipients of Christmas Cards, I shall be asking that evidence be provided, that a suitable, bona fide charity did receive a weighty contribution.

This ought to take the form of a receipt, made out to hersel' for a suitable and significant sum of money. It should be scanned and included in a post, the title of which should be "The Giving Hand that did not wither"

Message Ends :santa:

In the true spirit of xmas I too will not be sending out cards this year. ( and every other year)

Instead I will be making a large contribution to the charity of my choice- struggling alcoholic retail outlets in my local area.
