Hoping to head off tomorrow for a few days. Plan is to head around the corner and down to Canna although by the time we've caught the tide round Neist Point we'll be tight for time.
I hear there are buoys in Canna now- that would certainly make a late arrival a bit easier, no faffing around setting the anchor.
How busy is it likely to be in there at this time of year?

I'd guess is that it'll be pretty quiet, with loads of anchoring space. There are some buoys which help, but the reefs with thae big jaggy rocks are still there.

Well that was certainly worth the trip. Arrived in Canna just after sunset after a brammer of a sail down the West coast of Skye.
Stayed two nights and we were the only boat there.
The mooring buoys seem, IMHO, to be a good idea as there is a lot of space left in the middle of the anchorage.
