With our usual impeccable good timing....
we have decided to go home today before it becomes too hot. Also, sailing in anything below 27 knots is, well, kind of pedestrian......

Good call
I shall wait till the weather breaks before venturing out although the goos ship is herself about this week in the hands of friends.

Sitting here in Port Bannatyne, in the sunshine, just a gentle breeze to keep one cool, glass of red at hand, and the crew is just about to warm through the ribeye steak - just sublime - and the Tarbert food festival to look forward to tomorrow.

We are planning to set off on a great expedition on Sunday. Picking up various crew over a few days an expecting to be somewhere in the general area of Arisaig or Mallaig mid week. Wind may be in short supply.

We're waiting till later next week until the temperature really climbs so that we can fly off to Singapore. Upside is we are sailing on Golden Opus a 70 something Ron Holland.
Mandy of that ilk will be organising the cocktails.....
At the time of being asked the decision was Tobermory in the rain or Singapore in the sun? Now it could be Tobermory in the sun or Singapore in the smog. Oh dear!

I am sure one of Mandys B52's will do the damage, be it in Smoggy Singapore or Sunny Scotland

We're obligated to hit Rothesay with TCC tonight, then out and about in general until we run out of something.
Looks like the spewknakker may even be allowed out from under the bunk.

I'll not be home until the end of next week so the weather should be fine up until then...

Absolutly steaming driving home yesterday, after the wind and rain of the last 2 weeks it was a bit of a sickener.
We had a good wander round the Tarbert Festival and bumped into Ash n Joan on Saturday, not to mention Danny, that was a nice day and the showers were hardly noticed.
