Happy Birthday Claymore

Post by claymore »

Have a great day and I hope you get all the prezzies you are after.
Be careful tonight when you go out on the ale and don't worry that -- seemed a long way off when the Beatles sang about it - the consolation is that Saltyjohn, Para, Shard and the Muzz will always be older than you.
Love and best wishes

Happy birthday claymore, we've hauled Chiron out of windermere and sailed her round the Mull of Kintyre up to the Galley of Lorne and you aren't here! Never mind happy birthday.

I was hoping to buy the laird a dram for his birthday, but he's nowhere to be seen. In Loch Aline at the moment, having sat out yesterday's rotten weather at anchor here. Thinking of moving round to Charna.

There's a Mendelssohn on Mull concert at Tobermory on Wednesday (Mozart, Boccherini and Brahms apparently, no Mendelssohn).

We are sailing up to Tobermory tonight (ETA some time after midnight) as tomorow looks vile, then hopefully round Ardnamurchan on Weds.

We may meet up ?

Ah well, she was in berth 9, and probably 8 too, we were going to have to move if we stayed over. After a walk over to Croabh this morning we decided to sail round so we are there now, next door but one to Avilion.

It's good to read of your progress. I was beginning to think that OpenCPN had led you off the edge of the flat world.

Persisted it down all day. The wind got up this afternoon but it's moderated again now.

I feel it's a bit early to head back to Tayvallich tomoz but the wind is right so it's probably what we will do. Thursday is supposed to be rubbish again so heading up to Oban against the wind isn't attractive to me.
