Ian (Boobytrapper) stayed there last night, not sure if it was on pontoons though.

Just back from Islay and spent a couple of nights in Port Ellen. V.g. pontoons - good depth even for large boats, free electricity and very reasonable price. All in all a very pleasant visit.
