On the rocks

Post by DaveS »

Driving up yesterday I noticed a boat aground on the NW shore of Loch Fyne about a mile or so south of the Oyster Bar. It had a shredded foresail but I couldn't see if there was any hull damage. Anyone know the story?

There's some nonsense on For Argyll about it.

I was coming back from Dunoon a week or so ago and that poor wee boatie was on a mooring just along from Strachur- with it's genoa flapping to shreads.

Driving past it yesterday it looks like the mooring had parted.

That boat at St.Catherines near Strachur has had the foresail flapping about since early january.
Les of it everytime we drive past.
