I have rented a car so will be able to get to Ardfern independently, so no need for Muzzy/Claysie to be diverted from the important task of staying on the road all the way there and back.

Meanwhile I have been checking out some nice pix of Scottish snowdrifts, wondering if i should have taken the "snow chains" option and worried less bout lack of aircon in the hire car...
