Another Coffin Dodger

Post by claymore »

Gains receipt of the state pension today

Don't suppose it will have a positive impact on his willingness to buy the odd round.

Happy Birthday Douglas.

Bacon courtesy of Porkers, eggs Chicks-r-us and the sausages from Lancaster's master banger "BOOTHS". If only every birthday passed so memorably ...

there's a chance we might get it done from this Monday ..... itherwise, yer kind offer will be greatfully accepted. What I think will happen is, if we don't get it done, we'll shift the boat right out the way in the yard and do it when its really warm (if ever??)

Tell me your boat isn't held up by a ladder to port and a wooden post to starboard and that the props are somehow hidden!

Nice job btw

She's a real beauty . . . I always wanted a Tradewind 33 until I realised to my horror that they were an auld goat's sort of vessel . . .

35 feet of boat must be great, until it comes time to epoxy / antifoul / polish and you wish that she was a Leisure 17!

How do the yard get the boats so tightly packed? Do they use a crane rather than a travelhoist?

Lots of masts still rigged. Sheltered yard?

Great boats. We had a very pleasant evening on board 'Ambler of Arne', a Tradewind 33 (Scotty_Tradewind on YBW), in Bunessan last year.

Here's her leaving on the way north; Linda's at the wheel and was shortly thereafter up the mast freeing the jib.
