Bill and Kath Stewart would like to thank the many members of TCC who offered their support during their recent near-sinking in Lochranza.
It was comforting to know that even as we were trying to wipe things dry, arrangements were being made for accomodation in the club compound, and expertise was available to solve the boat problems.
Also, of course, thanks to Don and Moyra for taking over the escort duty, thus allowing our friends in "Mistral" to continue their holiday, and for facilitating the 'wind-down' process once we were safe ashore at Troon.
Sahona is now high and dry in the marina and Hugh Baillie (West Coast Marine) has been very helpful in advising us in how to proceed.
Looks like we may have a pretty garden for the first time since moving to our new house in 2001, but we'd rather be sailing!
