West Coast of Scotland charts

Post by wully »

For those of you that use funcy electronic charts as well as the paper ones- Anteres Charts has just released their 2013 chart folio of the west coast anchorages.
For those that dont know these charts are extremely detailed and run seamlessly on yer ipad with Memory Map.

They make running aground so much more precise...

Have a look - www.antarescharts.co.uk

Other flavours of charting software are available. I see that they would work with OpenCPN too.

Most importantly, do they show Claymore's Rock in Cuan Sound?

We got tunes onto Erica's phone via USB, the phone came up as an external drive won't the iPad do the same?

The Acer don't have a CD or DVD drive, I put stuff on that with an SD card stolen out of my camera either directly or via a USB card reader.

I don't have an iPad either.

I refuse to think about how the iPad works. I got it for the sort of effortless, mindless arsing about that Mac users have been banging on about for years.

Im too stuppit for computers which is why I'm in a world of Mac, typing this on an iMac which I used to think was a laydees hair remover

It took three hours to bluetooth the new 2013 Antares Chart over from my macbook cos some choob at mac central thought building a desktop computer withut a DVD drive would be a cool idea.
