Dementia?

Post by marisca »

Is my memory failing me or did there used to be "For Sale", "Wanted" and "SW Moan" fora on Bluemoment?

Anyhoo, here is your opportunity to bid on not quite pristine, but hardly used, Reed's Looseleaf Almanacs for those vintage years 2010, 2011 and 2012. The tide tables are a bit out of date but most of the rest of the data is as good as the day it was printed and you know you need a handy copy of the IRPCS with lights and noises, what to do with a pregnant crew member, and all the other (almost priceless) gems.
How much? Free to good homes and a pint if you have the misfortune to meet me. The alternative is the recycling bin and that would hurt!

It must be dementia - seems like you've forgotten how to scroll :shake:

Can I get the 2012 one please?

Nope, just your nesting! I clicked on "Bluemoment" in the Board index>>Bluemoment>>Shooting the breeze line. Clicking on "Board index" does indeed produce the missing fora.

Consider the 2012 version yours. Earliest passing of the troosers likely to be ~May 16th on the way to SIPR. Earlier if you can identify a carrier frae Auld Reekie.

Thanks for that. Are you likely to be visiting IKEA for the New Year sales?

AAAAAAARGH! I'd rather pull my nose hairs out one by one!

But if you can't avoid it I'm sure there is a solution there. PM me when you're coming, unless you want an audience for your misery.

I see. You would like me to deliver the article, wrapped in brown paper to hide its non-domestic purpose, to your agent at IKEA, Straiton. Ok. What about a recognition signal - a carnation in a buttonhole?

Or a BM Budgie, wore round the neck like a kipper tie?

I'll bid for 2011 if it's still going free.

Hand over TBA.

Cheers

Ash

Edit. JWD or a nearby hostelry would be a possibility.

Very kind offer but my boat has sufficient facilities already. Perhaps you could keep the, so far unclaimed, 2010 edition in the spare cludgie.

I'll be in until 1700ish from Saturday to Wednesday this week and Monday to Friday the following week. I'll PM you my number and if you drop me a text I can meet you at the entrance to save you going further than the revolving door.

I'll be the one in yellow and blue.
